Fleet Insurance

Fleet insurance is generally intended to cover multiple vehicles, such as for trucking companies, and auto rental companies. These policies must comply with the laws of the various States in which the company operates. The idea is to provide coverage at a more acceptable rate per vehicle than insuring each vehicle separately. The policies must provide the minimum personal protection and property damage coverages. And, to the extent the businesses operate in multiple states, there must also be compliance with Federal interstate requirements.
