Insurance Coverage Litigation Issues
Renters Insurance
This type of insurance is much like Condominium Insurance in that it provides coverage and benefits as it relates to the contents of the unit. The difference is, generally, that this is limited to contents, while Condominium Insurance also covers the interior walls, while renters insurance generally does not provide coverage for the walls.
In this case, the terms of the rental agreement are crucial, and coverage must be purchased to comply with those terms, or the renter may be in violation of the rental agreement, and that may have adverse consequences on the payment of claims under the policy.
This policy will also pay for injuries to third persons which occur in the unit. This is similar to condo insurance.
